In-Home Visit Seals Deal For Foster

In just over 24 hours, Iowa State’s Class of 2016 has changed dramatically with the addition of four commitments. The latest verbal to head coach Matt Campbell is from four-star offensive tackle Sean Foster, who had offers from several Power-5 programs.

Although the 6-foot-8, 285-pound Foster said his official visit was a great experience, he said he really made his mind up over the past 24 hours after his mom met a pair of ISU assistant coaches during an in-home visit.

Foster also had Power-5 offers from the likes of Boston College, California, Duke, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, NC State, Purdue, Rutgers, Syracuse and Virginia Tech.

Now that he’s in the fold, Foster said he’ll be taking an active role in helping the Cyclones close out the 2016 class on a high note.

For more on Foster’s commitment to the Cyclones, check out a more in-depth article posted to the ISU Confidential message board.
