Martin talks I-State commitment
Iowa State picked up a verbal commitment from a Detroit (Mich.) area wide receiver Monday night that had originally committed to Toledo when Matt Campbell was head coach there.
Harper Woods (Mich.) Chandler Park Academy wide receiver Jalen Martin was one of three high school seniors to choose the Cyclones during a busy night of recruiting in which Matt Campbell’s staff secured three verbals.
Martin said both academics and athletics stood out to him about his Iowa State experience over the weekend.
The Cyclones will look to play him on the outside and inside as a receiver.
